997.2 - is it possible to upgrade the sat Nav to 7 digit postcode search and if so, any ideas who can do it and how much please?

Porsche dealership did my 997.2 for £150.

TomTom maps and postcodes work so much better; for the PCM even after the upgrade I mainly used lat and long for any accuracy.

Hi Nick

I "think" that £150 cost for an OPC to do the postcode update was a "special offer" that ALL OPCs were meant to offer but only some did it at the discounted rate...

So the answer is to ring round various OPCs to see who will still offer it.....

Or as Nick said use TomTom ot Copilot etc....with speed cameras etc....

Need to get my '12 997.2 PCM upgraded too, I think I'm just gunna bite the bullet and visit OPC Guildford to get it done..

I had it done on my previous C2S and I think it was around the £200 mark..

£180 at Leeds
