for those of you interested in coming down on Saturday or earlier, we have used this campsite for a few years

It's very reasonably priced and doesn't require booking, it is a campsite rather than a holiday park with pitches, so slightly more basic. However there are toilets, washrooms and showers. Cooked breakfast is available in the farm house and huge cream teas for those around in the afternoon.
We generally stay the Sunday night too, just not a rush to get packed up and allows another day in the beauty of the New Forest.
To save taking all the cooking gear for one night, someone usually heads out and collects Fish n chips. although we still take a wee stove and a kettle for a cuppa.
