Hi All

Is it just me that has to constantly re-login every time i come back to the site after several hours and then click "VIEW NEW POSTS" ??

Using Firefox 42.0 (latest version) but it was also doing it with previous version 41.0 ....

Also where are our Avatars ?

Neither problem was there before site crash...

Any ideas please ?

I'm getting the same here too, and I'm using my iPhone to log on....

Same with me- I'm using I phone & need to re-type password details each login

Mine is OK, as I said in the post a week or so ago we lost the whole site & had to rebuild it from older backups. It was also migrated to a different server & provider.
I hadn't noticed the avatars being missing TBH & will have to go & hunt mine down!
Pending Jim T responding I can only suggest that you flush cookies & browser history & try again. It maybe worth also setting up a new password to login.

For what it is worth I have had no trouble "loging in" be it using PC or Android phone.
I agree all the Avatars dissapeared - but then it is very easy to put up a new one - or your original from your own back up.

Its not login IN thats the problem , its RE - login in...

In other words after a couple of hours of being logged in, I go to look at another section and have to RE- Login every time

I will put up a new Avatar though...see if it stays lol

STILL having to "RE-LOGIN" all the time.... now using Firefox 43.03 (all reset plus all cookies cleared etc)

Yup... I own a Computer shop and another PC business so know what "should" happen but it just isnt...

It doesnt particularly bother me (just a couple of extra clicks) but it might bother new users to the site....and i dont want it to deter new users from coming back....

Well you're no techno phobe then

I'm a member of the X Trail forum, uses the same software as this site - some members had difficulty with pop ups - down to different browser/OS combinations. I'd guess that Firefox is clearing cache/settings or cookies at each log in. I'm sure you have checked all of these settings inc private browsing mode etc. I haven't used Firefox in a few years, I switched to Chrome. Hope you find the solution.

May be corrupted cookie file after the backup - may need to be restored?

Unfortunately not my browser as it works , and holds cookies on all other sites

And im not the only one...
