Thanks for my membership pack. I thought it quite amusing though when I received it and had a fantastic tax disc holder in it. Isn't a tax disc holder a bit redundant now?

Perhaps. Now a current tax disc is no longer required, I have a "period correct" tax disc from when the car was first registered displayed.

Sounds like a fun way to use the holder. How would I get a tac disc of that type though? I take it yours isn't original?

I intend to cut off the disc holder portion and just use the top part as an advertising sticker for the club.

I have a 1982 tax disc in mine (although the first one issued to my car would have actually been 1983, I had one for it's birth-day).
Or there are some that contain emergency details in the event of an accident, contact details, blood groupings, etc.
