how do I create an avatar?I have a picture in my new photobucket file which I would like to use.

Go to "User control panel" (top right), "Profile" (left hand side), "Edit avatar"
That should point you in the right direction.

You're welcome.
There's a 145 x 145 pixel limit for avatars - I had to crop the top and bottom slightly after I'd resized it.
