Is there anywhere in the UK you can get these cone ended fuses? I can find a few sellers in the US but none UK side.

I did the seemingly common thing of shorting the glove box out when removing it as the positive terminal bounced and touched the ground

Saw this flicking through old posts so you've probably sorted it now but, just in case, do you mean these?

Correct! I seem to remember my original being a philips bulb with 3w rating. Which one should I go for?

Sorry, I'll have to let someone else chime in - I only recognised the description because my Beetle uses them
