I've just taken in the role of RO for this region.
I've sent an email out tonight looking for suggestions on the frequency and locations for the meetings.
The 28th won't be happening as the pub shut down, but as soon as we can agree on a new location I will send out a mail to advise the region.

I have sent an email to all the South Central members, but have had little response, so hopefully more of you will see this post.

I have a map now with the members of our region plotted to see where the centre of gravity for the group is.

As a next step, I would like to organise a kick off meeting one evening in the next couple of weeks to get us off and running.

From there we can agree collectively the locations of the meetings, and the events we are looking to attend.

As a proposal, I suggest Tuesday 19th April 2016, we can use the Betsy Wynn in Swanbourne Milton Keynes at 7.30 in the evening. I am suggesting this location for the first meeting as its central to the region and has a huge car park. Future meeting locations will be agreed during the meeting.

There is also a very good menu for those of you wishing to eat.

Please confirm if you can come along, as I will need to give the pub an idea of numbers in order to get a private area.

Betsy Wynn is a good meet location, I'll hopefully get up for a pint with you guys!

Sadly I can't get there in time as will be on a flight home from a weekend in France.

Good Evening All,
Just a timely reminder that the meeting of the region is planned for the 19th April.

I have been to the pub today and they will put aside an area for us to use. I will try to get there at about 7.15 to catch those arriving. As you come through the entrance at the rear from the car park, there is an area directly in front of you that is sort of segregated.

The car park is large, with additional parking to the right as you come through the gates ... I would suggest we park in there, its hard standing and spacious.

As mentioned I will be there at about 7.15 for a 7.30 start, here is the link to the pub http://www.thebetseywynne.co.uk/

It's going to be bright sunshine

The meeting should mainly be in the car park then.

Good turnout for the regions kick start meeting.
Guys that had never been to a meet, and some that wished to see the region get going again.
And big thanks to all for making the effort.
Everyone contributed ideas and all in all it went well.

And the weather was stunning .....

Brilliant, it would be great to see the region thriving again.

Hopefully we will see a few of your gang at Silverstone Classic in July. The BOGOF deal ends on 31/05/16.

Encouraging to see a good turnout in a previously thriving region.

You have the right man at the helm, please support him as much as you can, I'll certainly get up to a few local events as it's virtually on my doorstep and as I said, we'll do some joint events with Thames Valley.
