Can't believe no one watched it, or at least that so far no one's commented on it ...!
So - what did you think?

They trashed a manual 928GT, so should have been made to walk home.
With the exception of the angry mob, it was pretty much the usual Top Gear stuff, which I personally like, but it's nothing different.
Not sure what to say about the controversial bits as we don't know the full facts, just what they told / showed us.
Cheers,
Bryan

Booted TG into touch quite a while ago, just became too comedy & not enough about cars. When I go to the US the petrolhead guys are word perfect on each episode & can't understand why I hate it!

Coming from turnip land though I was thoroughly impressed with the Esprit.

I usually enjoy TG but am now bored with it, I dozed off in part one and couldn't be bothered to watch part two.

Hi
For what its worth the controversial number plate had been on the car since 1991....
Peersonally I enjoyed it, as so rare to see a 928 in any tv program
All the best Brett

I enjoyed it for its entertainment value

but as a car show - its now lost....
Not seen part two yet but looking forward to it.
Agree with the comments that they should be ashamed to have destroyed the 928... and the Esprit for that matter...
Don't agree with the conspiracy theorists on the number plate - perhaps it was a chosen coincidence. Re controversy, it's not half as bad as the Vietnam one with the back up bike emblazoned in Stars and Stripes and blaring out "Born in the USA" wherever they went....
On a happy note, I'm off to drive the Reasonably Priced Car around the TG track at Dunsfold in May

I don't believe anyone would treat a car that they owned anything like this.
But it just shows what a thoroughly amazing car the 928 is !
Bet jezza & co would not dare try it in my 407 !
