Sale or Return Experiences

I'm increasingly minded to hand my car over to a local specialist or a sale or return basis. I would be very grateful to hear of your first hand experiences of when this has gone well or otherwise. The garage in question is based in Three Legged Cross (that should narrow it down) and they appear to have a good reputation but I appreciate people may not wish to name names on this forum.
Many thanks,
Jon

Thanks, I take it noone has any actual SOR experience then... I took the leap of faith on Saturday so lets cross my fingers and see.
It was a sad day swapping into a 1.6 Ford Focus

but my delightful employer will see me most days on a Honda CBR600F due to woeful transport / parking provisions. The Focus will be confined to icy days and station duties.
