Macan in the Alps

Took my Macan up some Alpine roads yesterday, suspension set to low then use of PASM, Sport and Sport Plus as and when needed.

It does amaze what it can do and how it handles itself on the tight switchbacks, swooping left to right corners, you forget your driving a near on 2 tonne SUV it's engaging, fun to drive, great steering feedback and phenomenal grip out the corners as you'd expect for a 4x4.

Compared to the Cayenne I had out here last year this really is another level of performance and handling IMHO, it really is unfair to call it a small Cayenne it's so much better than that in pretty much every way with exception of internal space of course, on that we don't have a Macan Section, maybe combine Cayenne, Panamera and Macan as they all come out of Leipzig?

The car will be a month old in 5 days and will over 4000 miles on it, it's a fantastic car think it's my favorite of all the Porsche's I've had so far.

Some camera phone pictures from my day out which started at a Porsche Dealer in Annecy.
