Stratford car festival this weekend.

Hi all. Just for those who don't know...the Stratford upon Avon car festival is on this weekend. Sunday and Monday, there are static displays and two runs. Free to view on both days, a stage cars are parked around the town.
Might see you there.

I plan to have a good look at the cars on Monday. As a Stratford local I didn't enter display as prefer event involving more of a drive!

Barry was that you 44 Cab parked at top of Sheep St on Monday?
It was a tremendous event and I regretted not entering just on Monday at least. Never seen town so busy. Reminded me if how much fun car shows are when integrated into town (like Atherstone or on grander scale Laon).
4 or 5 Porsche I think including 964 and a new Cayman

Yes, that was me! Had a potter around and sat outside a cafe on Henley Street having lunch and drooling at the pretty metal passing by. It was so nice that the sun shone. The event worked well and it was good to see so many people. It was a bit slow to kick off, but after an hour or so, it was well attended. I might get organised next year and enter the old girl. It would be great if the club attended though.

I'm confused now as the 944 S2 cab I saw - absolutely mint condition - was an official entry?

I wish it was
I was actually parked by the opticians by HSBC just for an hour whilst having a stroll around. I will probably enter next year though, as I'm told the whole weekend was really good.

i went to that, there was a great turn out of all different types of cars. really enjoyed it.

Ha! I am sure your's is as nice. Think I spotted it when I drove through Ettington last Sunday on way to Gaydon Spring Classic. Parked behind quite a high wall on RHS coming from Stratford?
