Anybody tried any of those kits to cover up/repair stonechips?

A work colleague has had good results with Chipex (on his A6), anybody tried this or anything equivalent?

It was difficult to apply consistently and didn't really fill the chips effectively. Maybe some one with more patience might get better results...

The colour match was good, though, but the gloss finish wasn't as good as the original paintwork...

So on the whole, I'd give it a miss...
