Insurance on my first porsche

Hi, this is my first post and it is a big Thank You.

I bought my first Porsche last week and expect to take delivery next week.

It's a silver 996 C4S 2002. Dead excited. Anyway, I've been phoning around for insurance and struggling to get a good price. I've spoken to Adrian Flux, Bridle, and my current insurance company and all the prices were around 600 - 700 - 800 - 900 pounds. After finding this forum, I thought I'd try Asset Trust and they have come up trumps. £426 including breakdown cover. Brilliant.

It's classed as a classic car and for another £18.50 I can set it up as agreed value.

Think I will put some of the money I have saved towards joining TIPEC.

Thanks again!

Hi & welcome  Yes Joining TIPEC would be a good idea, especially as there are move savings along the way with membership.
Whereabouts are you?

Hi,
Thanks for the welcome, I'm just outside the M25, between the M40 and Watford.
I'll pop something on my profile.
