Hi all,

I have arranged a visit to Porsche HQ in Reading on Saturday 26th October where will have a guided tour around the facilities including the new improved workshops and see all the different models of Porsche either in the workshop or in the underground car park. The last time I went they had some very rare & limited editions track Le Mans on site. :D :D :D :D :D

Numbers are limited to between 20 to 25, so that's 12 cars + 1 passenger. At present I have only opened it up to the Central region, but if I fail to book all the places, I will also open it up to other regions as well.

We will need to sort out times & if we should all meet up & travel down in a convoy, but it would be nice if only Porsches no matter how old made the journey, although I can understand if you want to use another car. At present we are expected to be on-site around 10:30 - 11am for coffee & nibbles and anticipate it all to finish around 2:00 - 2:30pm.

If you are interested & to book your place, please put your name & companion, as well as the car you will be driving. A reserve list will also be set up in case people drop out. For both lists it will be strictly be on a first come first served basis.

Cheers Stu

Name & car:
1: Stuey + 1 = 997 2006
2: Steve + 1 = 993 cab '96

I have spoken to Porsche today to firm up numbers of attendees and timings etc. Porsche are expecting us to arrive between 10:30am and 11:00am.
For those who are travelling down from the Central region, if you want to met and travel down in a convoy, I will be at the Warwick services on the M40 at 8:30am to depart at 8:45am. It should take about 1hr 30mins to 1hr 40mins to get there.
Hopefully we will get a good turn-out and the weather will be better than the last few days, although supposed to be bad overnight.

Here is the address:
Porsche Centre Reading
Bath Road
Calcot, Reading
Berkshire, RG31 7SG

See you all tomorrow.
