It's been a long while since I had a car worthy of polishing.

I have spent all weekend tinkering with my 924 and today i got the Meguiars polisher out.

Sadly the bonnet and roof could really do with a rub down and clear coat. Might be braver after the show

Anyway, I started with a good wash , machine polish nothing too abrasive 83 on Meguiars scale, then a machine glaze and finally a good coat of wax. Well that took the best part of a day

Looking good and ready for the cream tea run and show.

Jason, I'm sure one of the detailing guys will have a paint thickness gauge if you ask. Some pics would be good or do we have to wait until the show?

A lot of cars will have had years of T/Cut and fairy liquid abuse.

I wouldn't be surprised if one or two reading this are still using one or tuther.
