Hello everyone.

The TIPEC anniversary weekend is almost upon us! Sadly, I won’t be there (I did ask Porsche to loan me a car so that I could drive down, but they said no. Funny that.) but hopefully a lot of you will be.

The deadline for submissions to the October/November issue of All Torque is Friday 6th - but I would really, really like to hold some pages back and include a big feature on our big weekend.

So I need to ask for your help. Can I have a volunteer (or two) to write up a report on the show day at Gaydon and also one on the Cream Tea Run? The report would need to be written and emailed to me really quickly - by Friday 13th at the very latest.

I can only hold the pages for this if I know for sure that the write up is definitely coming.

I also need to ask for photos. If you take some photos on the day, please, please pick out your best shots and send them to me - at the largest size you have. The more photos, the better - this is our club’s biggest and best event to date and we want to record it for posterity!

Really, not one offer of help? Tony - if I were going I'd be happy to do something but am otherwise engaged. I can only hope that someone has contacted you personally rather than through the forum...

If I get 5 mins I'll have the camera going as well Martin. If not I'll lend it to someone who can poddle round & shoot some.

Probably not a bad idea Jim, I think I'm pretty damn good in a lot of areas, taking photos definitely not one of them
