Just got my renewal quote for my 944 S2 from FOOTMAN JAMES, policy has almost doubled. Has anyone had any good deals? would appreciate you letting me know

I have been with Peter D James for the last few years on my tastefully tweaked 944 Turbo, Garaged, agreed value (& unlimited mileage!)
Here's my suggestion :-
Having been frustrated with lengthy Telephone "discussions" for getting Insurance I created a text file with all the details the insurers were asking then sent an e-mail with the file contents to a dozen or so companies, the ones that didn't reply obviously didn't get my business.
It was well worth the effort and resulted in Peter D James getting and retaining my business.
It's a simple task to update the file annually and send out a few e-mails just to ensure I'm still getting a good deal.

ps If it's your every day drive then joining and passing the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), Observed "Test" could dramatically decrease your insurance. I have my Volvo with the IAM Insurance and pay less than 1/2 of other companies quotes.

I always use Adrian Flux.... only company that will insure my road legal Nitrous, plus business cover....

But its relatively cheap with agreed value etc...

I pay around £550 I think...
