Hi all. I just brought a 1987 944. 2.5L, this is my second car. I was surprised at the price I was quoted for me and the wifeto drive, we insured the car as a classic with full comp insurance, 5000miles per year, legal cover and only £150 towards the first claim. I didnt use any no claims bonus on this policy and the price for the year was £160 . I am very happy

Mine costs about the same, slightly older car. I went via Performance Direct, who subbed it out to Highway.

Mines about the same £130 fully comp with lancaster!! I had a moped last year for the summer and that was more expensive than my porker!!

my car is 86/87 944 and its with 2together insurance. lancaster would not insure my car as it wasnt old enough, thats unless I wanted standard insurancce.

im 24 and pay £180 fully comp on my 944! well chuffed with that. didnt ask about claims or convictions either, i pay £500 on a mk1 golf. both classic policies. golf is with HIC and porsche is with lancaster!
