Hi Folks
After discussions with central region member Steve Butler I have agreed to lend our support to an open event in aid of the Northampton & Warwickshire Air Ambulance.
The event will take place on Sunday 26th June at the Hilton Warwick and we're looking for Tipec owners to put on a display and take passengers for a short ride in return for a fee to the charity. The event will run from 10am till 2pm.
All Porsche drivers will get a free lunch
If you're willing and able to help please drop me an email or PM and advise whether you are willing to carry out short passenger rides so I know what we will be able to do on the day.
Thanks
Paul

Thanks Paul
We are looking for around 20 cars to attend, we only require a few to offer rides for a donation.
The family fun day part starts from 11am so if the cars can be here around 10.00am we can get them positioned and all set up. there will be a buffet lunch for all exhibitors
WNAA receives no funding from the Government or the National Lottery to keep the service flying. It relies entirely on voluntary donations from local companies, organisations and communities. Therefore your help is vital for us to continue to service our communities and save lives.
The average cost per mission is around £1400 and the annual basic running cost of the service is over £1.7 million. Currently only able to operate in daylight hours due to the restrictive leasing costs of flying at night, WNAA aims to become the first service in the UK to operate 24 hours per day.
Please come and support this worthy cause

A very worthy cause
I attended two club events last year at which the air ambulance had to be present, once on site and once near by.
Can't see why anyone would not want to support such a worthy cause
One day I, or any one of us, might need a helicopter trip to hospital
So much for politics and politicians
No prizes for guessing what I will be doing on 26th June

Thanks Guys for all the help
I have supported the NWAA for the last 5 years now, and with the help from company i have raised over 12k. I was asked by NWAA if we could arrange a few Porches to turn up for this event, i think this will blow them away
Thanks again for your support
Steve

Wow! It turned out to be a warm day, I'm sure people were only coming out with me for the air-conditioning
I was planning on going down to SupercarSunday but had friends who'd travelled a way to support the event who turned up at about 2.30, so had a beer with them ...I don't think that best pleased Graham who'd waitied for me ( sorry about that Graham

)
Good time for a chat today and nice to catch up with people..
