Dashboard Rattle

Hi - just bought a 54 plate 911 Carrera and it is great. However there is a rattle in the dashboard which is driving me nuts - took the car back to specialist who said they tightened things up but it made no difference. Just looking for some general advice: (a) is this sort of rattle normal in a 911 of this age (b) can anything be done about it?

Advice would be much appreciated!!

there are about five areas to apply repairs/fixes to to stop the noises... i.e instrument cluster creak, windscreen creak and so on...

I have a 53 plate Cab that had a rattle which drove me nuts. I was convinced was from the dashboard area until my beloved told me it was coming form the driver's sunvisor because every time we heard the rattle the visor shook. She was absolutely right, I haven't been able to fix it despite dismantling, lubricating etc etc but is does not do it when the visor is down or unclipped, so that is the temporary fix.

I hope it works for you
