Private message notice

I've always had an email when someone has posted me a private message on the forum but it seems these have stopped??
I missed a message from a few days ago as I don't automatically login if I just pop in to have a quick look at the forum. Has something changed or is it because I updated my spyware/anti virus software last week?

Check junk mail filter mins went in there for a bit until I marked the sender as safe.

No.
As mentioned above, check it's not being binned by an over zealous spam filter.

it is interesting , because my advice on new posts to a thread notices started to go to my spam filter over the weekend . I supose if you are on automatic updates from your ISP or in my case Gmail you may not be aware they have downloaded you an update ??

I've stopped getting email notification of new PMs too now and thay are not in my spam filter either, any ideas why this has happened?
The option is turned on in my profile (just checked).
I don't get a pop up when I log on to the forum either, although I suppose that could be down to having pop ups blocked in my browser.

How long has this been going on? I'm definitely getting email notifications of PMs - got one this morning from a test PM Nick sent me last night. If I get a chance, I'll have a look at the server logs over the weekend...

I used to get notifications, but I don't know when it stopped as I don't get that many PMs

No problem, I'll just have to remember to check the new message counter when I visit the forum.
Could be a Mac thing I suppose?

Not my fault, it's the Boss she is a graphic designer and says Macs are best
