I sold my first Porsche in January 2006 to a chap in the Cheshire area.

Somewhat distinctive as it's in Diamond Blue metallic which isn't very common. A lovely colour. The engine compartment had many Hartech stickers. Just wondering if anyone recognised it on the forum?

I wonder what happened to it.

Still on the road, it has tax and MOT/SORN. 8th may 1987, 2479cc, 944 LUX. But where is it?

Thanks Lee. Wish I'd kept it really... but glad it's still on the road. Had 157k on the clock when I sold it but it was in first class condition.

Unfortunately I don't think it's anyone who regularly attends the Cheshire & Staffs area meets, as I've never seen it there.

I now own the car. I have owned her since 2021, and she needs some work unfortunately. Bottom of the wings have gone and the original engine has been replaced at some point.

Steve Simkin has not posted here for over 10 years, used to see him quite a lot but I'm sure he moved away from transaxle circles after a turbo and a 968.

Very nice chap he is! Bought a few parts off each other back in the day. I'm sure I sorted him out with a turbo wastegate and an ABS pump. In turn I acquired my full leather sports seats and CS steering wheel from him, both in burgundy, a spare dashboard, and a pair of unbelievably mint burgundy door cards which remain unfitted to this day!
