When my headlights are on, one foglight glows dimly..But when I turn the foglights on, both of them shine brightly!

What is going on? The car is new to me.

Sounds like an earthing issue, some idea of Porsche model would assist!

Sorry-it is an 88 944 Turbo

Ah ha! There are two major earths on the 944 just inside of the headlights when you lift the bonnet that would be a good first shot. Also check all the bulbs are kosher, I've seen a blown bulb do really weird things.

hi i have a 924s with a simalar prob. checked earths and lamps no joy
on advice changed dip switch(part of wipper stalk) and main switch still no joy!!
now looking to re-wire with new relays!!!
if you find out please let me know as i am now pulling my hair out and not got a lot of that left.
changed relays in fuse box and lift motor with no joy.
any help please

hi just fixed a similar prob on my 924s check out the post as have given discription of fault there
