Thanks for your kind words everyone, I'm really enjoying the car and starting to get back into the 911 way of driving again!

Very pleased to be back amongst old friends and meeting new ones too!

Hi folks, not really been on here much, think this might only be my second post! Anyway, I sold my lovely Cayman S the other month (boohoo) but made up for it by going out and buying myself a 997.1 Carrera 2 S. It's a 2005 car and has only covered 34,000 miles, the spec list is huge, so much so it's easier to list what it doesn't have as it has everything apart from sunroof and PSE. As you can see it's in Basalt black (and to complete the blackness it also has full black leather interior with sports seats). It has red seatbelts that I wasn't that sure about when I bought it but they are growing on me now. I bought privately but had it inspected by Peter Morgan's Scottish agent, it needed new tyres and geometry but otherwise everything checked out. That said, now the tyres are round again I have noticed that the rear shocks need replacing so that is now top of the to-do list but it is otherwise excellent. Feels like a huge upgrade from the Cayman which is a surprise because I didn't expect it to feel like a big jump at all. Anyway, I'm going to try to post some more stuff on the forum this time round and in the meantime, here are some pics:
