Wild Atlantic Way last week with Scenic Car Tours.

See following link for link for photos

Great scenery, lovely people but rubbish roads.

Car performed perfectly - only blew one 15 amp fuse in 1900 miles. Suspect short circuit/bare wire on fan blower/electric mirror circuit. From experience always carry spares (four for 2 euro in Eire)

Oh, ok, so RS settings? did you do any work on the wheel carriers or shimming? I thought it looked lower than RS.

Took the 993 into Silvertune, my Indy of choice, for it's annual pre-bed Service and general tidy up, 11 litres of her usual Fuchs Titan Race Pro R 15w-50, oil, fuel, air filters, all OE from Porsche Centre Portsmouth (given up on gypo bits from elsewhere, after a few recent quality issues!), plugs, Using Beru now since Bosch plugs are now Chinese, and others have been having issues? New coil packs, New O/C and A/C rad ballast resistors, engine lid gas rams. Replaced fixings on all the bits we took off for A4 items, a policy I will continue, very handily Eddie has a good fixings company round the corner from his workshop where he can pick things up as they are needed. We did discover a collapsed rubber vacuum manifold behind the fan housing which was not visible until the housing was removed, of course it is a Porsche part, which is not carried in stock by OPC, ordered one from PC Portsmouth, which they fitted for me yesterday, Not bad for £40 which included them checking my engine mounts! Happy days, good night old girl, see you in the Spring.
