Ouch, getting few more MPG as my wallet is a lot lighter, but on the plus side she's going like a rocket again. :D

Nice big long drive and I've forgot about the bill.

FYI it's Pentosin for the clutch fluid. I didn't know what that was so had to ask George Morrison. I think I'll get an invite to his staff Christmas dance this year, I'm in more often than some of the mechanics.

They think the slave is on its way out, but with it sitting for weeks between uses they can't find any evidence of a leak? They bled it and it came back up? I didn't ask any more as it was FOC.

Had to charge the battery up again. Took it out for a good run. I've bought a solar trickle charger from Maplins, I'll see if it works out. :D

On the other hand, I should really use the car more.

What a miserable few days!! Wind, rain, more wind and more rain....and just looked at the long range forecast deep joy. :(

Managed to get out on one of our few dry days for a blast with Mr Smallman ( shame Jim H had a dodgy belly he really did miss a blast!) around East Kent, found some awesome roads to stretch our legs, the biggest challenge was wots round the next corner a puddle or river

Now locked away in the garage and a real deep clean started, keep saying "that's it now for a couple of months" but I know deep down the first glimpse of a dry sunny day and the cover may well come off. :o

Well you've got to make sure it all works haven't you :bounce: :D

Glad you got a good day out, don't ever put the car away for winter!

After the last couple of outings it really needs a good clean up and I want to do a couple of little jobs, the intention is there but it's too bloody cold and damp to spend to long in the garage. Oh and there's a little thing like work that might get in the way as well.
So not really laid up just work in progress....

The day started with Kim cooking a Full English

There were some good roads, a bit muddy and wet in places which added to the fun. Dymchurch will make for a good chippy run when the weather breaks. The posty in his little van kept us honest on some twisty lanes.

The 4S is still covered in crud, the weather will hopefully clear up enough to give her clean soon :)

There is also a charging point in the engine bay which saves you having to remove the bulk head trim.
