sorry i didn't make it (again) for some reason Tuesday night always seem to be busy. will try harder for the Dec meet.

On top of which, congratulations must go to the outgoing RO (not fixed) for winning the quiz on the night. Chris and Kathy Belfield managed 20/30, and walked away with a bottle of Bells Scotch Whisky, and some toiletries for the missus. Well done Chris and Kathy

however looks like we should be able to make 18th Nov meet. we'll be on our way home from a trackday so it'll be nice to stop for a meal (and not have to cook) and a natter

A reminder that this coming Tuesday (18th – yes, tomorrow) is club night.

We need to finalise menu choices for the Christmas social, and kick off some discussions for next year’s events.

It’s been a busy old year, and I would like to thank all those that have attended and helped along the way. Please would you consider what kind of thing you want to do next year, as your input is crucial to the success of our region, and ultimately, the club as a whole. Don’t forget, this is a club run by the members, for the members and Alan and I only facilitate what you guys want to do.

We are hoping to cover next year's calendar, finalise deatils of "Not the Boxing Day drive", and if there's chance, a quiz set by The Belfields of Ashby - winner gets an all expenses paid trip to Saint Moritz, or something............or was he joking?

Please consider what you would like to do next year, as your input is crucial to the success of our region, and ultimately, the club as a whole.

This year's calendar of events will be out, and we will be looking forward to our first event of 2009, the Slot Car racing on Friday 23rd at The Station Hotel. Lewis - watch out, Alan'll be on yer tail.
