Surprisingly no take up from the Southern boys, Gaydon is only just in the midlands :toothy8:
Hi Sean

I know I can't speak for the whole of the South but you can't get much more South than the South coast.

Rach' doesn't do tents either but I have manage to borrow a tent and talk Rach' round, I think it should be a good crack in the evening. :color:

Hmmmmmmmmm.........yes camping......I really don't do camping. I have no idea why I agreed (especially if you lot are staying in a nice cozy hotel somewhere local) and I've realised that I can't even sleep in the 993. I shall just have to drink copious amounts of alchohol to get through the nightmare.

Rob, if you're reading this... can't wait, it will be lovely, really looking forward to it (but Valentines had better be good).
I like it here...I think I'll stay!

Pressures on now Rob. :D

A takeaway and a dozen roses from the local Esso forecourt, isn't going to cut it this year.

Booking the room now looks the best option. :laughing3:

S**t, you've gone and spoilt the surprise now Sean.

I still think that camping is the way to go, I'll get round Rach' somehow.

I'm looking forward to it already. :angel8: :occasion5: :occasion5: :occasion5: :tard: :puke: :sad2: :sad4:

Sorry, not much interest from the Southern Region club night last night. I will not be at the party either, as it clashes with my summer hols.

The purpose of this Party and BBQ is to have a good time and celebrate the Club being around for 15 years.

We are not trying to compete with PCGB, it's a one off informal fun family party. We have a great venue for this years show, which gives us the oportunity to get together have a few beers and make a cracking weekend of it. Stratford Upon Avon is 10 miles away, another incentive to stretch a one day show into a weekend.

Going to the pub for a meal would be cheaper, this is a 5 hour party with disco, BBQ etc.

The BBQ isn't bangers burgers and jacket spuds, it's a party so the idea was to make it worth while

We're having Steak with Ciabatta, Sausages and red onions, Chicken skewars with sweet chilli, vegetable kebabs, vegetarian burgers with mozarella, a selection of salads, desert, coffee and chocolates.

I am amazed at a couple of comments I have received. :banghead:

North East has 5 with partners so far for the party and show. May get a few more yet?

No other replies as yet...

Have to be honest, not too bothered about the theme to the evening personally. I would be happy with just meeting up and having the BBQ, but that's just my 2p worth.
