.....and this flag fiasco demonstrates some of the reasons I did not join PCGB. Congratulations to all at TIPEC for being broad minded, not reacting by removal of offending object and showing a great sense of humour :)

Well said Tony. Couldn't agree more. It was a little 'offending' but we (TIPEC) are broad-minded enough to cope.

Many thanks to everyone for making us feel really welcome at what was our first TIPEC event. The track and facilities have continued to improve since my first visit last year. I thought that the free tuition and photographs were a nice touch.

Thanks to everyone involved, hope to see you all soon at another event.

Previous - 997 GTS with aerokit, aqua/black, PDK - Fantastic car would recommend.
997 C2S with aerokit, basalt/black, manual - Good car with great feel. More authentic than the GTS (PDK) but less capable.

One thing I did think was "off", the guy who turned up from PCGB and proceeded to erect a PCGB flag next to his car right in front of Sean and I.. I don't even think he participated, and considering PCGB would not tollerate the same happening at one of their events, I think that was extremely rude.
I thought it was funny, no he wasn't participating. He kept hijacking the thread we had over on the PCGB forum, telling us about his region running a novice day in May.
Very strange behaviour, that. Like a child.

Would you like to work together?
Sean/Richard... just seen the post above. As I had very little to do at work this morning I've completed an article and submitted it. I have no objection whatsoever to it being added to, altered or not published at all if it's not suitable. Cheers, Elliot

Wow that was quick, thanks. i have sent a copy to Richard, so that he can have a read.

All we need now is some photographs. :bounce:

It would be good to capture some comments from those who have not done a track day before. It might help others take the plunge next time :)

Ok ladies and gents, let's have your your "Blyton Park Track Day Quotes".

If you were there, tell us here, in subtle and succint prose what you thought of it all.

Young Elliot has penned a line or two for All Torque and I'm sure he won't mind if we break it up with YOUR thoughts on the day. Let's hear 'em, please.

The first comes from Mrs RichardKS: "Where were all the other wives and girlfriends? A girl can get lonely on track!"

Is this shot using the Internet bargain camera? The footage is very good :)
At a cost of less than £20 I was quite impressed :D
< £20 Really ? Also impressed - looks as good as my Road Hawk (DC-1 not HD) I have in the daily drive Volvo (just in case Insurance scammers try it on) :x :x

Any chance of a link to the "Internet bargain camera"
This is the camera I used http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7dayshop-Vehi ... 5aeeba7265
