Just to clarify as there seems a bit of confusion - we're only at Weston Park on Sunday 23rd officially. If anyone has mis-read the date and booked for the Monday you might be lonely :(

Or you could ring Geoff Price and ask if you can be moved to the sunday when we'll all be there :D

Hey, don't blame me. Lindsay started talking about Monday. If he was on about the Red Lion, he should have posted in that section.

Two choices Greg:

We're gonna meet up on the Halfords carpark Cannock (on the A5 at the Longford Island) from 9am with a view to setting off in convoy for Weston at 9.20am

Alternatively make your way direct to Weston Park and the Marshalls will direct you to the Tipec stand.

A word of caution - the main road into Weston was packed by 10am last year so an earlier arrival is advisable. Technically all display cars are supposed to be in position by 11am but I've never seen this strictly enforced

Hope that helps :D

My pass is GP 91.

Probably won't join rendezvous at Longford r'bout as I'm in Stafford sat night and will head cross country to Weston from there in the morning.

Just to endorse Paul's warning about the traffic - I was about a mile from the park just after 10 last year, and was worried we wouldn't get in before the 11am time which officially means you have to pay for normal entrance tickets.

It was fun watching some of the older cars boil over in the jam though (hubris dictates that this will happen to me now on Sunday).

See you there. Looks like a typically freezing British Easter though. Was going to polish the S4 tomorrow but if rain's still forecast I'll just give her a wash.

Sorry guys I did the rain dance today and washed her in readiness for Sunday.

The graphic for the local forecast for Sunday has some ominous blobs which I take to be either hail or snow!

Anyway I have to drive round Staffs tomorrow so if my car looks filthy at Weston (if I'd driven it for a few miles on roads round here this afternoon it would have got filthy) then it isn't because I didn't try to make her presentable honest!
