Brilliant evening. Thanks Paul (and Richard!). This was the Porsche equivalent of an evening with one of the surviving Beatles.

Following on from Thursdays event I think its appropriate for me to mention a few thank you's.

Firstly a thanks to everyone that came along, particularly Ken Coad and Ian Heward (Porscheshop) who provided their cars for the display. Its great to be part of a club where members and supporters will put themselves out to help make an event work.

A special mention for Jim and Carl who came a very long way to be with us - true enthusiasts obviously don't recognise distance

A huge thank you to Mike Luck and the team at Classic World Racing (CWR) for hosting the event at considerable cost and effort on their part. Bearing in mind the event was obviously promotional from their point of view there was hardly any "sell". Anyone interested in the damper modifications, performance fuel tanks/cells or restoration services can take a look here:

Finally I would like to extend my thanks to Richard Attwood for his time and the opportunity to spend a very enjoyable evening listening to one of the legendary Porsche drivers. A true gentleman and very humble of his considerable achievements in racing.

Paul, I'll echo that, it was a great evening the other cars apart from the obvious 917 were also stunning & the hardware was very mouth watering. Great venue & food, thanks for the whole thing & for everyone who assisted in putting it all together..
