let me be serious for a moment:

we really do need a new secretary Sean, you cannot be expected to carry this work load by yourself.

No i really do mean it, Sean does a ton of work, his house is like a tipec shrine, Haley must get well p****d off and it isnt fair. We have enough members who want this and that doing or this and that service from the club, someone must be able to do the secretary role? It is work for someone, but it can't all keep falling on one man or eventually he will get that racked off he will jack the lot in and then where will we be?

Come on Play fair and give the guy a hand ???

Glad you like it, sorry it's taken a while.

Clive and I went to an expo for all things clubby in November and spotted a company who said they could a better job of it than I was.

Gordon is right, I can't carry on indefinately.

The Membership Secretary role is fairly straight forward and really does take on averge 1-3 hours a week to complete all the tasks. Most weeks not even an hour.
Maybe no one has volunteered to come forward because the previous Secretary made out it was a full time job??

I'll happily spend as long as it takes showing you the ropes, I picked it up without any training so it must be fairly straight forward.

The shrine has diminished over the last 18 months, my study is no longer like a fort.

If you are interested then please get in touch.

My membership ran out on 1st September.

Either -

I haven't renewed  (entirely possible, don't recall a reminder), or
I haven't received my new membership card. I really, really want a new style card.........

Whichever it is, please help me. I definitely do not want to be seen as a freeloader !!

Is it possible to have an RO who isn't actually a member? :D :D
The more i think about it - where's my reminder?????

Hi

I am in the same position as Graham.

My membership ran out in August

Now it looks as though we have 1 RO and 1 ARO who are no longer members of the club

To make it worse we don't have flashy new membership cards that we can use to get discounts with

Finally, is this why I haven't received my copy of All Torque this month. That really upsets me as a non member, especially as I contributed to some of the photography in the magazine for which I did not get credit as a non member.

Serious comment now, has something gone wrong with our data base and associated links for membership cards and All Torque etc. This has to be a concern, especially if our overall numbers are falling

Someone help please

No serious issue with the database what has happened is a few of the RO and ARO community have been sent to archive in error.

Drop Dave a note and he will forward you a copy of the mag, Paul has a boot full of the latest issue.

I didn't get a mag either - that explains it.

I've e-mailed Dave direct.
