Look out for us Southerners Dave - we'll be the one's with nosebleeds

Midlanders are not southerners Paul! South begins around Milton Keynes in my book. But then research shows people define 'the north' as starting around 20 miles north of where they were born. Hatfield & The North and all that.

Sounds about right to me. I'm a Leicester lad, and I always thought of the north beginning around north notts but that was reinforced by DH Lawrence associations (mining etc).
I once heard an Aberdonian refer to a Glaswegan as a Southern B*d in a pub. YES it did lead to blood being spilt....

+1.

I had a wonderful day. fab weather, wonderful backdrop, best food I've ever seen at a car show (alas I'd brought a picnic, but the catering was home-made in aid of local charity and of astonishing quality) and last but not least some fantastic cars. This being a PCGB event it follows that there would be large numbers of newer 996, 997, Boxsters but still many interesting early cars (and tractors).

Worth price of admission just to see and take part in the 928 display!

Nice pleasant run up in Derek's S4 and a nice day in the sunshine.

Agree with Adrian that the hospitality food was spot on (fresh smoked salmon, Greek salad, Chiken satay with peanut dip etc) although I didn't have any as it would have clashed with the bacon buttie :D
However I can vouch for the strawberries & chantilly cream

Not as many cars as I remember from the last visit but well worth the drive

It was quite a good day.

But they may have 'lost' a few cars, due to the road closure between Harewood and Harrogate.
It took us an hour to get there via the countryside lanes
