Hi Steve
Yes going up there tomorrow to collect, they put through the workshop to renew MOT for 12 months although had been mot in Feb, decided air con could be cooler so replaced another condensor. I have the job sheets for all prep work done lots of new bits over the last 6 months, it was sold last Autumn after being prepped, then developed the engine problem and has been fully rebuilt with Hartech mods / machining and many new parts. They gave the other chap his money back as was taking a while to sort out.
I will see you on the 7th and 10th cheers

Its awesome! The power, the steering, the light front end, feeding the power in, brilliant. The whole car is just great to drive and makes me want to get out in it all the time to learn it. At first it felt a bit wayward coming back on the motorway but soon got used to it, holding the wheel lightly and letting it move around like in the lotus but more so with all the weight in the back. It is even fun driving it slowly. Pic below from Thursday at PCT, nice guys and good service. Had them put some colour wheel centres on.

Compared to the other 997 i drove and the cayman the clutch is heavier and can sometimes engage / disengage with a bit of a bang if that makes sense, its not like it is a problem to drive but don't know if it is more worn? 1st can occasionally be a bit tricky to engage. Other than that all good, have all receipts which i am yet to look right through, old tax discs etc, i like that. They have done a lot of work on the car, i will post it up sometime.
Been out this morning, then back to pick up the missus and the dog, pic below of Freddie our Fox Terrier making himself at home in the back

looks great Jake, well done

when you get a mo, have a look if there has been a gearbox oil change, sometimes it can make a huge difference. I had those symptoms on my car, got the oil changed, totally fixed it

see you soon

Fantastic, well done, looks great. You are right they take a bit of learning for exactly the reasons you describe but nothing else like it when you do.
Love the fact your dog is in there! I'll take some pics of our Springer in the back of my Panamera soon!
