Well been home now for a while. Good party & food last nights, my wife managed to keep everyone in stitches as always.
The morning at Prescott started very very wet but by midday the rain had stopped & quite a few of us signed on for a run up the hill.
Did two runs in the Boxster & decided that was probably the lot as I was gaining in confidence each run & it would have ended in tears.
Have always wanted to go hillclimbing as a competitor & this has reawakened this urge. Over the years I've built & not completed for one reason or another 3 cars.

Good company last night, the food was excellent as was the local cider.

Nice to see a good turnout of Porsches from the Club.

Pleased the track dried out and the rain stopped, it's a a shame the weather played a part until lunchtime.

We had a cracking drive home on empty roads, cross country to the M25.

Great day, shame about the weather but didn't put us off a couple of trips up the hill.

The track was very wet and it was raining hard but we went up in just over a minute which wasn't too bad for a first attempt!

We had a lovely b road run there and back also averaging 17mpg for the day!

I was thinking that it was a bit quieter than the old 996 PSE but I think it's actually that the interior is quieter.

Great day out - and it was free thanks to John at the Marcos Club.

Well done to Colin who won first prize in the Pride of Ownership with his 944 Turbo (pushing the Marcos' into 2nd and 3rd place). He probably feels like Mo Farah now after winning top prize at Hatton as well.

Great day again, thanks to John Brookes for the organisation, good to see the tipec faces again and catch up, shame the weather slowed the hill for a while and i'm sure that GT3RS would need new rear tyres on monday. Well done to Colin Bailey for picking up first in the concours, its getting a bit of a habit now
