Hello,

I am new here, this is my very first post having been directed here from another UK Porsche forum.

I am currently doing a photography project (challenge) that i have set myself to photograph as many of the Porsche models as possible and looking to put these all into a photobook at the end, i'm still debating if/how this will be available should anyone else want a copy as well but i figured i would work that out later.

Here is a copy of my 'other' post:

Guys & Girls,

I'm wondering if you can help.

I'm looking to photograph some more Porsches to add to my portfolio, i seem to have gathered a few already so i've set myself a personal goal to photograph as many model's / years as i can and collate these into a photobook.

Currently looking for people to let me photograph their early 911's / 80's 911's / 968's/993's/ and GT,2,3,RS etc

I already have a few 996 shots and the 991 / Cayman R /964 i think i'm sorted with as well.

Will be willing to do these local to Yateley/Fleet or sort of 20mins drive away for free.

drop me an email if interested john at vroomphoto.co.uk

Thanks,

John.

That's a very nice 993, i have a few 993's already but that said i might just find time to fit that one in as well ;)

Ideally need all the front engined cars : 924,928,944,968

And help finding the really rare hard to find cars: 959, GT1

Also i need to find most of the GT Cars, i have some shots of the Carrera GT and the GT3 but need the other models.

feel free to drop me an email: john at vroomphoto.co.uk

Cheers,

John.

Hi :)

Be VERY careful legally on what you are doing and have NOTHING to do with the PCGB in this matter....

The last person (Jeff Maynard) who was going to do a photobook and give a copy to all PCGB members ended up in a HUGE legal wrangle :(

But good luck anyway :)

You are welcome to use this if you wish...

John

I have just read your post, could you please clarify what the purpose of this project/ challenge is?

sure no problem there isn't really a purpose as such its just something that i want to do.

I did a photography project in 2009 called photo a day where i set myself a challenge to take a photo every day for the entire year to stretch my ability and creativity.

I've recently taken a number of Porsche photos of newer Porsches and a few close friends own them so found myself with a few different models in photographs so i thought why not try and expand on that and get all of the models.

This isn't a money making excerise if that is what you are concerned about.

I thought that some clarity might help your request.

Attending Hatton would definitely help you tick a few models off. :D

I'm currently free this weekend so might be able to do a shoot local to me for a few hours or the bank holiday weekend i am also free at the moment but again would only be for a few hours or my wife might just carry out the threat to shove my camera somewhere unpleasant.

Most evenings except Wednesday next week i am also free.

Thanks,

John.
