My 944, MQ's 968, two friends one with a Caymen and the other a 993 RSR. What an amazing sound from the 993!

Booked into a hotel on the 28th of May this year in Reimes. Stopping there on the way back from the F1 in Monaco on the 27th. Going to the ring on the way to Monaco, via Stuttgart, Innsbruck, Torino and Nice.

I had 2 for a few months - both in the fastest colour! Caused DVLA to go into overload when I swapped the reg no from 1 white 944 to another white 944!

Now I just have the one 1989 2.7.

Great photos! Surprising how subtle the differences between the 2 cars are. I have yet to see two 944's alike.

No, they are original 944 wheels, optional on early Turbos I believe. They are 7" and 8" x 16, cant remember the offsets, but less than the 928 versions - 50 something as opposed to 60 something.

When I got the car it was on 924 Turbo wheels which are only 6"X 15"as the 1st picture.

Although you cant see them, the wheels on the 2.7 in the 2nd picture are 928S2 wheels 7"x16 all round! They weren't on for long and this is the only pic I have which shows the 928 wheels and how much more inset they are as opposed to the 944 versions.

Al - Yes, they all look the same but never are! The old one is 1983 square dash, identified by the cookies and the LHD style wipers.

Andy - which is in front? :lol:
