Kit contains polish with pads and a UV sealer/inhibitor,
gave the lights a good wash and a very gentle sand with 1200 wet and dry just on the deep scratches

then got the drill and give em a good polish, would have been better with a DA polisher but the drill was Ok,
in for a wash again then 2 coats of the UV sealer

That's what kitchens are for aren't they ?
Simkin nothing wrong with the door handles i just prefer the original sleeker look, i also prefer the rubber spoiler as opposed to bridge spoiler, i also prefer original wheels or Cup 1's on 944 and not much else but we all have different tastes.
While i am at it would not fit clear lenses to my car nor a bee sting type aerial.
All said, each to their own and live and let live.

Getting bored now ..my car is in storage so can not work on it :( ...... Done too much eating and drinking and No exercise so decided to do what I could on the bits of the car that are in the lounge, bedroom, garden, Kitchen ect

I've allways been bothered about the scratches in my door glass, seems to be a common 944 problem, looked in a couple of breakers but every piece of glass seemed to be scratched somewhere, Porsche wanted £280 +vat each side :(

I found a company in Yorkshire ...Yorkshire-windscreens that has both side INSTOCK.....amazing price if £70 each inc vat
they are not oem but the the size and colour is bang on :D

I removed the runner from the old glass this was very easy!...Allmost too easy I was waiting for something to go wrong

started by applying adhesion promoter to bottom of the new glass and then glued the rubber seal on to it

my personal favourite..

Image resizer for windows. http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/

Simply download and install (very small so will take seconds)

then when you want to resize. Simply..
1. right click the photo, and click 'resize image'
2. choose size (small, medium, large)
3. click resize

Done!
