The hood can only be operated on my 944 with the ignition on and engine off.
Is it possible to change this so the roof operates when the engine is running and the handbrake is on? Has anyone done this?

Mine is the same , ie ignition on at stage 1 but engine off.I do recall reading somewhere ( may have been rennlist ) how to rewire it so that you could operate it with the engine running , but dont think there was the 'handbrake on' failsafe.As I recall it was just a case of running a new powerline to the switch on the consol.
