Crich Tramway Museum visit

Post by PaulPSB »

Hi Folks

Don't forget we have a visit to Crich Tramway Museum on Sunday 19th June - this is a joint event with East Midlands region.

We will meet up on the day at Mcdonalds Birmingham Road, Wall Island Staffordshire WS14 0QP from 9am to set off up the A38 at 9.30am in convoy. We have a discounted entry price of £9 adults and £5 for children and a dedicated parking area for our cars.

This should be a really different day out and I hope you will come along and join us. Details of the venue are here: http://www.tramway.co.uk

Please let me know if you're coming along so I know who to expect on the day

See you at McDonalds

Paul :D

Bummer! I'm a closet tramway fan. Been a member of the Tram & Light Railway Society for 6 years or so. But If I suggest another car Trip to Mrs TR7V8 especially in June with her kitchen in bits then I'll be a dead man

This event is this coming Sunday and all are welcome.

East Midlands are meeting up on the Northbound Trowell services at 9:00 for a 9:15 leave.

Anybody interested either give me a quick call so I can wait for you, or just turn up before 9:15.
It should be a lovely day out with period shops and unlimited tram rides.

Hi Graham

and it's thanks from me too

very enjoyable day

a fascinating museum to visit for the mechanically minded and also for an insight into social history, pity the rebuilt old pub was closed though!
