The weather has been fabulous this weekend, have you been anywhere in the Porsche?

Gave the 4S a clean before Haley and I drove up to Warwickshire on Saturday, stayed over at Walton Hall. Looked on tinternet earlier in the week and got a late deal, B&B including 3 course meal for £100.

Attended the AGM at The Heritage Motor Centre near Gaydon on Sunday. A very good meeting, a nice lunch (loads left). We were dreading the drive home, the M25 on a Sunday afternoon can be a painful process. The sun gods were shining on us in more ways than one and the drive home was incident free and very enjoyable.

Haley remembered the sun cream for a change, so no bright red faces. 8)

I've been on holiday at a log cabin. I was going to bring the 928, but had a catastrophic a/c failure on Saturday morning. Through the smoke and tears, I decided to take the diesel!

Sean,I think that a few of the bristol lads do go to this meet sometimes,i met a guy called Steve who has a really nice RUF 1988 911,he belongs to the bristol crew and said i should go along to one of their evenings just outside bristol,....be nice to go actually as i am sort of inbetween areas really.....cornwall being quite some way off!!!!..i am about 25 mins from exeter so bristol is probably nearer, steve also said that the bristol lot are going down to poole quay for the next evening meet, should be good and i might tag along....nice 996 you have....andy.

Well had a run down to Birmingham from Aberdeen on Sunday, with my speed yellow 968 CS. Nice run but could have used A/C to be honest, sunroof and windows open instead due to the heat !! I was thinking to myself on the M6, I hadn't really seen any other Porsches on the journey, when I suddenly spotted a yellow spot in the distance up ahead ?? I eventually caught up with a what turned out to be a very nice looking speed yellow Mk1 GT3, had a quick 'side by side moment' then off we went our separate ways.
No big deal I guess but a nice enjoyable moment in a long otherwise quite boring journey.
