Club Regalia

Post by ExAudiSi »

As I now have an order form for the Club Regalia, I was wondering why we don't advertise the fact that is available in All Torque?

I don't know that this existed until I mentioned it in Siggy's thread a few weeks back and so it is likely that most of the other members don't know about them either.
I would like to get my polo shirt to wear at events, but if nobody else sends an order to Sean, I could be in for a long wait until we reach the minimum order number.

The reason people won't know about regalia is that some of the RO's never bothered to show the lists to their members.

Gary was sent copies last year when we put this together.

Quite a few regions placed orders last year, we sold about £700 worth of our range.

The club has had huge problems with regalia in the past and there is no easy solution unfortunately. A few years ago we wrote off +£2K because we bulk bought, it either went missing or was in no fit state to sell after being thrown about in boots of cars.
I have wasted hours trying to come up with a practical solution and spoke to many suppliers.

Some suppliers will take single orders but the costs are prohibitive, £25 for a £6 polo shirt is too much.

We have some TIPEC sew on badges that you could put on a polo shirt for £3.

Dave you have enough on your plate for the time being without adding extra responsibilities.

Sean the place I emailed the link, is in Ossett.

We will be near there next week, we can pop in and see what they can offer us.

I had seen and order form somewhere here and thought they were in one of the boxes you dropped off. But since found them in the stuff John left me while he is away

Hi :)

Although I didnt even know we had "regalia" lol...

I assume its just a Tipec badge on front of a Polo shirt etc ???

Can I suggest we get a Porsche badge for the back like on my Race suit ..its around 10 inches in size and looks great , or would there be problems with Porsche with that idea ??

All the best Brett :)

I don't see a problem with that, except the whole point behind club regalia is it advertises the club, not just Porsche.

Also as a little profit would be made to go into the club funds

Hi :)

My point was that I like the American style T`shirts and Polo shirts which have stuff on the BACK and FRONT...

So personally I WOULD buy a Tipec shirt WITH a big Porsche Crest on the back , but I wouldnt bother for just a Tipec logo on the front....

Cost....hmm...WITH the big Posche crest on back...I would probably pay...£20 ish...

All the best Brett :)

We are not allowed by Porsche AG to use their crest or font in any way shape or form.

I do have some offical Porsche cloth badges if anybody wants them for £3.
