Ok thanks for replys ,yeh the box type ones ,which are on ebay dont look to bad on cars with bigger wheels , but i wouldnt be suprised if theres a big gap looking up from underneath the car allowing dirt to get in and cause more damage {or do they fit flush with the bottom line of sill?}
I am i panel beater by trade . the sills on my car are in pretty good shape , but with rust bubbling through underseal/stone gaurd .The car on its original sills ,and i dont want to be hacking the car for that kind of rust
I did one side a few years ago it looked ok when i did it , but within six months of wet weather driving rust started bubbling
through ,and now its worse than ever
Those ones on the fibrewerks website look so much better than the cheap box section ones and also probably fit better
Has anybody used any of this anti rust paint u can get POR i think its called ,sand down the stonegaurd apply that primer then put the stone guard over that, followed by paint

Heres a pic of Fiberwerks
http://www.fiberwerks.com/_borders/1989%20944%20S2.jpgThats what porsche should have put on the cars to begin with especially S2 turbo cars .Im sure they fitted side skirts to the 968 because of the rust issues they had with 924/944 .Incidently can original 968 skirts be fitted to a 944 or were the sills/quarters a totally different shape to accomadate them?
I take the copy 968 skirts fit totally different than the originals probably glued on
