Central Club Night - 14th February

Post by PaulPSB »

Hi Folks

Don't forget that next Monday is club night at the Westmead. :thumbright:

Chris Franklin of Center Gravity is coming along to give a short technical presentation on "Porsche handling traits" commencing at 8pm. Chris is a geometry specialist and spends his time "chassis tuning" with an emphasis on Porsche. He has a wealth of knowledge and an easy way of imparting it so that you can understand what happens to your car under certain handling conditions and why.

If you've had the pleasure of getting your car "sorted" by Chris you will understand what I mean and enjoy another chance to listen. If you're a non-convert then come along and find out why so many Porsche enthusiasts take a trip to Center Gravity at some point.

See you there from 7.30pm

Paul :D

It's a big thanks from me too

Yet another brilliant session for club members

Not only have we had the practical session back in 2008 but on Monday we had more of the corresponding theory and understanding to go with it.

I wanted to come to this, but alas with me having to go to Manchester on Sunday, and my own regional meeting on Tuesday, (coupled with the auditors at work :( ), it would have been too much.

Hopefully there will be a repeat event soon?

I would have been up for this and, as much as I like you guys, there is something very wrong with hanging out with a bunch of 'the lads' on Feb 14th...............

See you all next time eh

To be honest I hadn't realised it was Valentine's day when I put the events list together at the start of the year  or else I probably would have made a change.

Quite understandable that you had other "commitments :love3:" so we'll let you off

Catch up soon Pal
