Not a lot of people know this but the Newhaven incinerator consists of a basement 18 metres deep and 45 metres square.

Not bad considering the base is 17metres below the tidal river level :?

Not alot of people know this but, Heaton Park in Prestwich, Manchester (my hometown) is the biggest municipal park in europe it is 640 acres and also if anyone knows the park the boating lake was once a racecourse up until 1839 when the races held there were moved to Aintree which is now home of the Grand National.

I will pitch in with one..

Not a lot of people know this..but the kangaroo and emu are on the emblem of Australia as they cannot walk backwards, only forwards.

It was designed to tie in with the national anthem 'Advance Australia fair'

Not a lot of people know this but it's far far cheaper to buy a good enthusiast owned Porsche for a bit more than to buy a cheap one & do it up. Or get one from a dealer. (Which is usually a cheap one with an inflated price.)
Sorry I couldn't resist that. :)
