. You seem like a friendly bunch and it's nice to see the 'fastest colour' issue is alive and well, as that has always been a point of contention on every forum I have ever used

I am pleased to say that the belts and cam chain/tensioner were done not too long ago, with the receipts to prove it from a reputable specialist, so that's one less thing to worry about. The HT side of the ignition will certainly be next, just to make sure that I've got the best possible spark, and then it will be on to brakes and suspension I think (it has had a recent geo set up on the standard springs and shocks, so that will do for now). I'll also have to think about some lightening behind the seats, and probably some race seats and harnesses in time.
Interesting to hear several suggestions to just enjoy the car in standard trim for a while, as that had been my conclusion as well, especially given the time of year coming up. Some cleaning and a nice set of Design 90s won't go amiss over the next few weeks, mind. I know that it looks clean on the photos, but believe me it needs some TLC over this weekend. My record car cleaning session was 6 hours, but I get the feeling that I might exceed that this weekend
