Hello one and all,

Just like to introduce myself, the names Roger and I have a 944, no surprise there then :D
I have owned the car for 9 years, it's a 1984 2.5 Lux, Copenhagen Blue, fitted with leather front seats from a 964 and a bridge rear spoiler from a turbo. They are the only "mods" as such otherwise a standard car.

I live on the Leicestershire / Derbyshire border, close to Ashby de la Zouch. Been to Le Mans 4 times with the car, nope not racing, but missed it this year due to work commitments.

Reagrds to all, Roger944

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Someone's gonna ask for pics, so it may as well be me - pics please?

Be nice to see you at the regional meet. We have a very active calendar (including Le Mans classic this weekend), and meet on the third Tuesday of each month (next on 20th July) at Field Head Hotel, Markfield from about 7-ish if you want to eat.

Check out the regional pages : http://www.tipec.net/region_eastmidlands.php

Hope to see you soon. Enjoy the ride.

Hi Graham,

Photo's will have to wait a while as currently out in the North Sea playing on an oil rig. Back home next week, but then off to Spain for a week - family hols. Will try and post when I get back.
I have met a young lady who helps with the East Midlands region, she works in the Ashby de la Zouch library, drives a metallic light blue 944, recently had new wheels on. I will attempt to get to Field Head at some point but not sure when as my rota is due to change soon and but not sure what too yet.

Enjoy the classic at Le Mans 8)

See ya some time
Regards Roger.

Back from Le Mans - excellent time.

That'll be Kathy Belfield then.

Look forward to seeing you (both!).
