It's a snobbery thing..nothing more. Unless you are gonna spend ££££ on I.C.E then Kenwood is fine. But for the same money you can also have sony, so it makes it less attractive.

I got this little pioneer (P6000UB) one a few weeks back. I spent ages looking for one that works with an iPod propperly (you can browse through the music just like on the iPod) and fits in well with the interior trim. The PO was kind enough to shell out on kenwood Dual Mag 6x4s for the doors which are about the best 6x4s you could buy at the time. I Just stuck in a nokia Bluetooth car kit which works through the front speakers and seems OK with the roof open too. Back when I had my '74 911 I didn't even fit a stereo. That flat six made sweet music. :mrgreen:
