hi guys

need a little help. i have a 98 boxster 2.5 tip and having problems with the gearbox, everything is fine until in automatic mode, when under heavy accelaration it doesn't want to change up, usually either from 3rd to 4th or 4th to 5th. everything is fine in tip mode and under regular accelaration.

cheers.

We see this all the time, often a clogged tiptronic filter and poor condition fluid.. A tiptronic service normally sorts it out.

Porsche specify quite a long interval between tiptronic services. Following numerous failures over the years we started recommending a tip service every 4 years at most.
