I have a 944 S2 and love it.

Being a marginally handy person under the bonnet, I thought I give my car a proper check out to see if she was OK.

Well for a 19 year old, she is pretty damn good but could I find the darn air filter?

Could I 'eck. Does any one knwo where it is? I'm sure it needs replacing and I was going to buy one of them nice K&N filters to put in but I can't find it on the car.

No manual doesn't exactly help either and the head scratching came up with nothing also.

Thanks all.

Under the badge panel.

Don't ask me how you're meant to get to it though.

Yep its under the badge panel.

Turn on your dip beam lights and disconnect the battery so the lights stay up and you keep your fingers for another day, pull out the rubber strip at bottom of the pop up light area and undo the two 10mm nuts each side, with a torch look via the head light opening toward the middle of the badge panel and you should see one or two screws each side, back to the head light area and in the far corner right at the front there is a screw bolt which holds the badge panel to the wing again 10mm both sides which should just leave the little screws on the top edge and it should then just pull out towards the front, you can’t miss the air filter then.

Awesome, thanks for the reply's all.

I would never have thought to look in there for the air filter.

Much appreciated indeed.
